78s from the 1950s

The 78 rpm record has always been collectable. Although phased out in the late 1950s in favour of the more compact and hardwearing 45, original 78s have a depth and clarity of sound unmatched by the lightweight 45. Just try comparing the same song in both formats and you'll be amazed at the difference ! The reason is simple - because they play faster and have deeper grooves, the sound reproduction is superior.

That's why so many collectors favour 78s. And we stock a huge range in 10" and 12" formats. Just check out our stocklist for details.
